For couples of all ages who are dating, engaged, thinking of marriage, newlyweds or seasoned couples. All couples have problems at some point. When challenges arise, seek help from a trained professional. Premarital counseling is offered and beneficial to prepare for a healthy marriage.

What are the costs?

There is a $25 registration fee for the 6 week group . Check with your insurance as some insurers cover group therapy. They will ask the name of the provider (Ashley H Underwood, LICSW) as well as the service code (cpt code 90853-group therapy). Get a reference number for your call. If using insurance the registration fee has to be paid prior to beginning. Group can also be paid privately.

What topics will be discussed?

Various topics appropriate for teen girls will be discussed to include self love, healthy relationships, coping with anxiety to name a few. A list of each week's topic will be given upon registration.

How many participants will be included in group?

Due to limited space, capacity will be limited to 12 girls. This also helps with group cohesion and intimacy.

Other Important information?

Because sensitive information maybe shared, this is a confidential group. In the State of Alabama the age of consent is 14 years old. Participants will be asked to sign in agreement to this. There are Limits of Confidentiality to ensure safety for minors to include intent to harm self, others or if a minor has been abused.

How do I register my teen?

Please call our office at 205-983-4450 and we will send registration forms and an invoice to make payment. Once we receive your completed registration and payment your teen will be added.
